Jinx Bee Terms of Service
Effective: July 19, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Jinx Bee, a word-association game from BeePresent. By using Jinx Bee, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Jinx Bee is designed for a general audience age 13 and older. Contact info@beepresent.co with questions.
Player Identity and Accounts
You can start the native iOS app with an automatically created local player identity and no login. You may later add a supported sign-in method for recovery or use on another device.
You are responsible for keeping your device, credential, sign-in method, and recovery information secure. If you delete the app, clear device storage, reset the installation, or lose the device before adding a recoverable sign-in method, your profile may be unavailable except for eligible Apple purchase restoration described below.
We may suspend, limit, or delete access when needed to protect users, prevent abuse or fraud, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or operate the service.
Gameplay and Availability
Jinx Bee includes Daily puzzles, Bee games, two-player multiplayer, invitations, Honey, Bee progression, rewards, and related game features. Features may change or be unavailable during maintenance, outages, App Review, or platform restrictions.
Private direct messaging and restricted social word-cloud surfaces are intentionally unavailable in the iOS 1.0 release.
Scores, progress, rewards, Honey, badges, and entitlements have no cash value. They are limited licenses for use inside Jinx Bee, are not transferable outside Jinx Bee, and cannot be redeemed for cash. We may correct errors, reverse duplicate grants, remove fraudulent rewards, or adjust balances to keep the service fair and functioning.
User Content, Safety, and Social Features
You are responsible for display names, submitted words, feedback, reports, and other content you provide. Do not submit or use Jinx Bee to share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing, spammy, deceptive, or otherwise harmful.
We may filter, moderate, hide, remove, limit, anonymize, or preserve content and related records to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, and operate safety systems. Other players may see content you submit where an available feature displays it in a multiplayer or shared-game surface.
Use the in-app report and block tools for concerning player behavior or content, or contact Jinx Bee Support.
Apple In-App Purchases, Honey, and Plus
Native iOS purchases use Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple's payment terms. The iOS 1.0 launch catalog contains four Apple products configured as consumables:

Each product has a mixed benefit: the Honey is consumable in-game currency, and the same purchase also grants a permanent Plus bonus while the purchase remains valid. Plus unlocks the puzzle archive. Jinx Bee does not sell a separate Plus product in iOS 1.0.
Restore purchases checks qualifying Apple transactions and can grant Plus to the current player identity. Restore does not recreate, duplicate, or credit consumable Honey that was previously fulfilled, spent, or forfeited.
Apple handles Apple In-App Purchase refund requests unless applicable law requires otherwise. For a refunded or revoked purchase, Jinx Bee removes only Honey remaining from that purchase and will not make your balance negative. Plus is revoked only if no other qualifying, non-refunded purchase remains.
We retain pseudonymized transaction, fulfillment, ledger, refund, fraud-prevention, accounting, and App Store compliance records when needed. Honey does not expire while the associated account exists, but unused Honey and gameplay history are forfeited if you delete the account.
Account Deletion and Device Reset
Recoverable accounts and automatically created local iOS player identities can be deleted in the app without contacting support. Open Menu, choose My Hive or your player-name row, expand Account, choose Delete player account & data or Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.
Deletion removes or anonymizes the profile, progress, gameplay history, social relationships, push tokens, user content, analytics identity, and other per-user data, subject only to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy. Shared games and legally required purchase, refund, fraud-prevention, security, and accounting records may remain in pseudonymized form. Deletion forfeits unused Honey and gameplay history.
If you later create a new player identity, restoring a qualifying Apple transaction can grant Plus to the new identity. It does not restore the deleted profile or credit the original Honey again.
Reset this device is a different action. It revokes the credential for that installation and clears local state, but does not delete the player account or server data.
AI-Assisted Features
Some game features use AI systems to generate or validate words, explanations, images, or related content. AI output can be imperfect. We may filter, retry, reject, replace, or remove generated or submitted content for quality and safety.
Do not try to bypass safety filters, exploit generation systems, scrape data, reverse engineer non-public APIs, interfere with service operation, or use Jinx Bee to harm users or systems.
Notifications and Communications
If you enable notifications, Jinx Bee may send game-related alerts such as invitations and turn reminders. You can disable notifications in the app or iOS Settings.
If you contact support, submit feedback, or opt in to follow-up email, we may respond about that request.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update Jinx Bee and these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Jinx Bee is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally available service.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BeePresent and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, Honey, or game progress arising from your use of Jinx Bee.
